Lily Allen Loses Baby She Was Expecting

Lily Allen has lost her baby, the singer's spokesman says.
The singer was admitted to hospital on Thursday after complaining of stomach pain, but - after days of trying - doctors were unable to save her unborn child.
Allen previously had a miscarriage when she was dating Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons in 2008.
However, since she was six months pregnant with boyfriend Sam Cooper, this sudden loss cannot be medically termed a miscarriage, which occurs before the 24th week of pregnancy.
"It is with great sadness that we have to confirm that Lily Allen and Sam Cooper have lost their baby," says her spokesperson. "The couple ask that their privacy be respected and that they be left alone at this deeply distressing time. No further comment will be made."
The 25-year-old had begun to effectively wind up her music career to prepare for motherhood.
Back in August, Lily Allen said she was 'absolutely delighted' with her pregnancy.
